So this weekend in the rain I noticed that Meepster the Jeepster is showing signs of being Italian.
I noticed it this weekend.
Occasionally, when I turn on the front wipers, the rear wiper will stay on until the car is turned off. This happens about once every three times I run the wipers.
Good thing it’s going in for an oil change on Saturday morning.

Does it do what my Fiat did? If you have the front wipers on and you put it in reverse, the rear wiper comes on.

Sounds like a feature to me, how else are you supposed to see out the back whilst in reverse?

Yes, but at first it was hard for me to believe it was planned and not just a normal Italian car glitch. Especially when mine could not ever remember whether I had been listening to the radio or my iPod most of the time.

Be careful when making a hard stop, Steve.
